What services do you provide?
We build retaining walls, fences and gates, paving and hard landscaping, and we do turf preparation and installation, excavation and general site preparation. A lot of our work is on sloping blocks, tight-access sites or properties with tricky ground conditions.
What areas do you service?
We mainly work across the Gold Coast and South Brisbane. For larger or specialised projects we can travel further by arrangement, so get in touch if you're just outside that area.
Do you offer free quotes?
Yes. Quotes are free and no-obligation. After a quick chat about your project we'll come out for a site visit, then send a written quote. Quotes are valid for 14 days, subject to material availability and supplier pricing.
Do I need council approval for a fence or retaining wall?
Sometimes. While each council region has slightly different requirements, across Queensland a building approval and engineering is generally required if a retaining wall:
- Exceeds 1.0 metre in height.
- Is within 1.5 metres of a building, boundary or another retaining wall.
- Carries extra weight or surcharge loads, such as a driveway, parking area, structure, or a fence adding wind or structural load.
- Is part of a swimming pool barrier or sits on a waterfront or watercourse boundary.
- Crosses over or sits too close to sewer or stormwater services.
We don't lodge council applications, but we'll let you know whether approval is commonly needed for your job before any work begins.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We're QBCC licensed (licence no. 15443423) and fully insured, including public liability insurance.
Does your work come with a warranty?
Our structural work is covered by a workmanship warranty, and many of the materials we use carry manufacturer warranties as well. Warranty periods depend on the product and supplier, and any exclusions are set out in your quote before work begins.
What materials do you use?
We use trusted suppliers and choose products for strength and long-term performance, such as AS 4678 concrete sleepers with galvanised steel posts, and genuine Colorbond fencing. Colours, textures and finishes can vary slightly between batches and from how they look on screen.
Do you have terms and conditions?
Yes. Our terms and conditions apply to all work. Accepting a quote or paying a deposit means you agree to them.
